Skateboarding is best in the summer months but in the winter exchange your skateboard for a snowboard. The Telegraph ski and snowboard show will be held at Earls Court 2 from 30 October to 2 November and they are giving away 20,000 free lift passes. Check out the details here.

I love the idea of skateboarding and loved ice skating but I'm way too afraid of the cold to go skiing or snowboarding. Then again, it must be exhilarating hurtling down a hill.
