Rock on Top of Another Rock

An art installation by a couple of Swiss artists titled "rock on top of another rock".  By way of explanation we are told "the rocks are imbued with the artists' unmistakable wit and serious sense of the absurd".
Where I come from this is called a rock slide and there will be a sign up that reads "danger rocks falling".

  1. Yes, we would call that a "rock slide" in Colorado, too ;^)

  2. Can we drop a rock on the 'artists?'

  4. I was on a hike this summer and came across a natural feature called Balance Rock. It was one very large boulder on top of a second very large boulder, just like this. The glaciers created that art as they withdrew.

  5. Like Jack, I have seen things like this while hiking. Seems kinda pointless as art, but perhaps I'm missing something.
