Crossing the Thames

Currently the wobbly wobbly bridge is the most popular way to walk across the Thames.  However there are plans to create a new garden bridge with over 200 species of trees and plants.  The plan is that it will span the river from Temple to Southbank (not far from this bridge) and be finished by 2017.  An artists view here:

If that happens it will be very popular, I can't think of any other city with anything similar.

Yes that bridge does move about a bit.

Wouldn't that be splendid?! Better than a wobbly bridge!

Don't know I like it or not. Wouldn't it be to windy there for plants?

I don't think there is a problem with the current bridge that you show, but the new one would become an instant favorite. I hope it is built.
