We had a wee break in the rain yesterday afternoon and the sun came out. A rather rare beast these past few weeks. Spare a thought for those in other parts of the country who are wading about in flood water with a months worth of rain predicted to fall today.

This is a fantastic photo of light a shadows. Well done!
You should bottle it, you could make a fortune at the moment.
Always needed.
Even a few seconds of sunshine lifts the spirits. I have just been outside and practically was blown across the road. When will this end?!

I was just listening to a report on the news this morning about more rain headed your way. I really do feel bad for the folks under water. I grew up in a city right on the Mississippi, a river that flooded every spring. I know what kind of damage that water can do.
Your country suffers a bad winter, with all the floodings. It looks terrible. Your government has to do something about it. They have to take a look oversea at the Netherlands. We have the knowledge about how to cope with water. You need dikes and river maintenance. You all have to raise you voices!
Looks lovely, and I know sunny skies have been rare in the United Kingdom this winter. I read an article today on the flooding situations along stretches of the Thames.
I love the sun shafts. Yes, the national news reports in the USA have been covering all of the rain in southern England. Tonight it was said that this winter there has been the most rain since some time in the 1700s. 1700s!
