Selfie - defined by Urban Dictionary as "a picture taken of yourself that is planned to be uploaded to Facebook....usually accompanied by a kissy face". Then there are group selfies, celeb selfies, political selfies, (remember the Obama, Cameron and Thorning-Schmidt). Who came up with the term selfie is not clear but by the end of 2012 Time magazine considered "selfie" to be one of the top 10 buzz words.

Not me! I tried it once and I looked at least 20 years older than I am and I can't have that!

Occasionally I catch myself in a reflection, but no, I don't go specifically for that. I'd rather be photographing the area. That scene is stunning.
No selfies of me are out on fb!
But yes, there are some fun and crazy pictures that have been taken, but they are just private.

I look back fondly on the days when tourists in Cambridge would hand you their cameras and ask if you'd mind taking their photo.
Me? Mo, for the first two years of my blog I showed only the top half of my head and for the last two I have shown my face obscured by a big camera. But, for my fourth blog anniversary in early July, I am thinking about posting a photo of myself. If I do it, will you, too?
