The Court Room

A peek inside one of the rooms available for hire in Senate House.  The stunning art deco building is the home of the University of London .  When it was built (1930's) it was the second highest building in London, (after St Paul's Cathedral).  It now houses the grand library of the university and is mainly used for events and filming.

On one of my many trips to London, a friend I traveled with arranged a meeting with one of the Deans of UCL and he took us on a little tour of the campus and the Petrie Museum. That was so interesting. I don't think I've ever seen so many Egyptian artifacts in one place.

It's beautiful, and quite distinctive.
