Gizmo the veiled chameleon seemed unfazed but her admirers. Her owner said she was definitely posing for my camera. "Is it a boy or girl?" I asked, and "how can you tell?" Very easily. Girls are green. Boys are brightly coloured, the helmet on their head is much bigger and they are born with a heel. Native to Yemen and Saudi Arabia, Gizmo seemed very comfortable being surrounded with her London admirers.

I heard a story on the radio this morning about the new sculpture on the 4th Plinth. Sounds like an interesting piece.

I am wondering how big she is. She could be the size of a small dog but perhaps she is just well in the foreground!
She does appear quite unflappable!
