Following Saturdays post of the dangers of cycling I thought I'd show you a truly fun day (actually weekend) of cycling. Free cycle is an annual event whereby the central roads of London are closed to all traffic except cycles.
The variety of bikes and people make the event truly inspiring. I kept hearing pedestrians saying how they would love to "do that". Next year I expect they will.

Great way to see the sights, and I imagine considerably safer than when the cars and buses etc are flying around!

There's a parkway here that does that on Sundays.
