Colourful and busy Brixton Market in south London is the place to go for foods from Africa, India, the Caribbean, Asia and South America. Brixton is also the latest area to be fighting the developers who have grand plans to gentrify the area beginning with demolishing part of the market.

I used to go here when I was a student. The huge bowls oflive eels always fascinated me.
I've learned to be very leery of developers and their grand plans.
I too have come the conclusion that the word of a developer is absolutely worthless.
Keep fighting to save places like this.
These places have such a magical, appealing atmosphere that no developer can possibly replicate.
