London, Scotland and Northern Ireland voted to remain in the European Union, the regions want out and they got their way. Those that led the campaign have also made it clear in the aftermath that they have no idea what now. Unhappiness with government policy has translated in to blaming the EU. Two fingers up to the establishment (which is what most exit supporters are saying they were doing) has resulted in an outcome that has surprised most people. Younger people are horrified that their future now looks even bleaker. Whatever your views one thing is certain, the next few years look pretty grim.

So What Now?

FREEDOM!!!!!!!!!!!
England is about to go into a dive while Boris drives the car!
It's going to be a tricky road, whoever is driving.
I have to say that I was shocked when I heard the news too. I listened to many different points of view on our news stations here and almost all of them were predicting some grim times ahead.
As crazy as our politics have been this year, I was holding on to the feeling that someone like Trump could never really get elected. Now I'm not feeling so certain. It's scary all the way around.
Protests have already begun in London with Londoners wanting to stay in the EU.
Could it be any worse than the 70/80's
I just think it's incredibly short sighted.
The flags look like they are at half-mast (great photo btw).
The outcome of the election was a big surprise for me.
I guess there will be lots of changes now.
Let us hope you will get a good PM.
Disaster - and it is the young who will suffer.
Doesn't anyone understand that actions have consequences? I read this evening that Cornwall voted to leave by a wide margin and now they are begging to keep the same level of EU funding that they have been getting. Sorry, blokes. Why didn't you think of that earlier?
