Disappearing Skyline

Happy New Year everyone.

London has had days of fog sometimes not lifting all day.  The towers of the city barely visible.  Some mornings the fog has nestled so low it appears to sit on the bridges.  It is lovely for a riverside walk, however not so much fun for the many travellers whose flights have been cancelled.

Fog just seems to be a perfect way to view London. The cancelled flight part can be a bit of a problem though.

Fog and London are synonymous;)

You almost expect London and fog to go hand in hand.

Here fog usually lifts by nine or ten in the morning, when we get it at all.

Such a weird sight, everything vanishing. Happy new Year Mo!

London and fog are a nice match. We had a week of fog here and it lasted in to the late afternoon. I enjoy being out in it and taking photos.

Yes, we have experienced some foggy days.
Can be very atmospheric for photographs!

All the best Jan

Love the faded look here. We have had some foggy starts to our days here lately, but I have been too slothful to get outside with my camera.
