Urban Mountaineering

The great white elephant also known as the O2 that was built for the millennium, goodness wasn't that a lifetime ago, is mostly used for large concerts and event.  However there is another activity which is way more fun, and that is mountaineering over the outside roof.  When you get to the top there is an amazing view.  I did it a few years back.  Such a long time ago now,  I must do it again.  Fancy joining me?

I think I'll pass. I get dizzy on a two-foot stepladder! Nice shot, though.

This is a great photo and very enticing but, I think I'll have to pass. I'm not good with heights or climbing. Thirty years ago I might have tried but then, it wasn't there 30 years ago.

I bet it's exciting. I saw people up there when I went down the Thames to the Barrier.

Yes, I agree the millennium seems such a long way back ...

Wow, I looked back on your older post, amazing and very brave!
All those that want to do this must enjoy it - mustn't they? I hope so.

I did like your photograph.

All the best Jan
