It's a sign of the times in that how people are addicted to their smartphones. I noticed the other night whilst having a pub meal all four people on the next table were all concentrating on their phones.......maybe they were phoning each other?
How did we cope before we all had mobile phones? The image made me smile, and the comment about "Mr. Boris style" is quite accurate. It must be uncomfortable to be in suits on hot summer days!
I used to carry a book wherever I went, because I'm impatient and don't like to wait. Now all I need is the phone. I'll be a tourist later this year and I know I'll stand out, because everyone else will be staring at their phones and I'll be staring at the scenery!
